Job Summary:
The primary function of the Customer and Office Support Associate is to serve as the initial point-of-contact for customers, vendors and visitors both in-person and via phone, as well as provide support for the Order Administration (Customer Order Processing) position. An entry-level position with the opportunity for growth, the Customer and Office Support Associate will gain valuable business experience in many diverse areas!
Job Duties:
· Maintain professional etiquette during all in-person, phone and written correspondence
· Perform general office duties including operating a multi-line phone system, filing, troubleshooting office equipment (i.e. copier/printer), ordering and maintaining office supplies, and distributing mail
· Perform general customer support duties, including, but not limited to, customer invoicing, customer order processing, and general customer interaction (as applicable).
· Data entry including, but not limited to, production floor timecards into ERP system(s)
· Greet visitors; maintain welcome board and visitor log
· Assist other departments (A/P, Order Administration, HR, etc.) with administrative duties, as needed
· Interact regularly with customers, vendors, manufacturing & office personnel; extended periods of computer use is typical but may also be expected to collaborate on production floor near or around heavy machinery
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
· Punctual and reliable attendance
· Approachable and courteous demeanor
· Proficient in multi-tasking and prioritizing; exhibit strong attention to detail and follow-through
· 0-3 years related work experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations environment
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
· Intellectually curious and willing to cross-train
