3 Part-time 12 hours ago Full Job Description The primary objective of the Survivor Link Public Health Aide is to build capacity within the community to understand and respond to domestic violence.
The specialist works with a public health or complimentary setting under the dual supervision of an agency-identified supervisor and a university faculty member.
This 450 hour reduced-half time term of service will include attending training events, hosting 3 training events at public health and public health complementary settings, and other service duties as assigned.
The member will both develop and deliver training and technical assistance to staff at public health and complementary agencies.
Each member will deliver a minimum of 3 trainings including the core training sessions of 1) Intimate Partner Violence Awareness, 2) Evidence-informed Screening or Universal Intervention principles, and 3) Safety Planning and Local Community Resources.
Additional service duties can include group and individual support, childcare, facility maintenance, and other tasks assigned by the site supervisor and Faculty Coordinator.
Community fieldwork will require regular documentation and supervision; members are required to submit online time cards every week.
