Position Summary:
Are you passionate about supporting scientific initiatives and promoting the advancement of physics? The American Physical Society (APS) (OEA) seeks a dedicated and experienced Operations Administrator to join our dynamic team. As the Operations Administrator, you will play a vital role in assisting the Chief External Affairs Officer (CEAO) with the administration of OEA. The Operations Administrator is a key member of the OEA team and supports the positive outcome of projects, initiatives, and activities in concert with the Director of Public Affairs, Director of International Affairs, the Director of Development and other OEA staff members. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively. Apply Today!
This position requires in office work in Washington, DC a minimum of 3 business days per week and additional time in office as assigned.

As noted above, APS offers a “Remote First” workplace. Although our Editorial Offices are located on Long Island, you can work from other places in the United States. We are flexible about work hours, but expect responsiveness during the core of the workday, Eastern Time.
