Job Summary
The Director, Internal Audit is responsible for providing strategic leadership direction, and management of all aspects of the internal audit function, including regulatory compliance through a systematic and disciplined approach to identify risks, monitor compliance with internal controls, evaluate whether such internal controls/ corporate and internal governance practices are working effectively, and educate and train staff. This position will also serve as a key consultant on internal controls, compliance requirements and best practices for the bank’s current and future business models, by providing on-going feedback and recommendations regarding the adequacy of policies and procedures as well the operational effectiveness and cost optimization of corresponding control activities.
