The right candidate is articulate, can influence without authority, and present to senior leadership. You will oversee software and service agreements and relationships. You will dive into data and focus on details to ensure the right inputs are top of mind for our internal customers and stakeholders.
This role requires working across multiple teams and global stakeholders, understanding and communicating critical business needs and how those translate into solutions. This individual must have experience building and negotiating complex technology contracts and statements of work, and partnering with engineering, procurement, finance and legal teams.

Problem Solver: Ability to utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges
Key job responsibilities
Define and execute a vendor engagement plan in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
Identify and engage key internal teams, and own vendor relationships and performance
Track existing or set up new metrics as required to validate vendor performance and related program metrics; report on performance in senior leadership forums
Frequently liaise and record outcomes of discussions with vendors to understand issues and barriers to meeting performance targets
Understand the technical requirements of our internal customers and become an expert in the workplace productivity applications space
Be an ambassador for Amazon to vendors

– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
