We are active in 48 states and Canada with more than 6,000 commercial and industrial locations. *Summary* As the Training and Development Manager you will be responsible for creating and managing a world-class leadership development and training presence that supports AMAROK’s mission to facilitate a greater sense of purpose in our career opportunities. In this role you will work closely with our company’s leadership team to establish standardized training and developmental programs for current and aspiring leaders. Since you will serve as the subject matter expert for all items related to talent and leadership development, you must possess an analytical mindset and continuously monitor industry/organization trends ensuring the company’s programs hold a high level of value. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* * Develop a deep understanding of the current organizational structure and cross functional collaboration to ensure the development and training program efforts are strategic * Identify areas within the organization in higher need of process enhancements and/or modifications to improve employee engagement, learning, and retention * Collaborate with department leaders to coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs * Design engaging educational content to be used for all skill levels * Certify all learning interactions promote valuable skills and build knowledge that support AMAROK’s values * Research new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing habits to meet the organization’s changing needs * Continuously work in conjunction with company leaders to identify individuals for leadership development and training activities * Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert and resource for aspiring leaders to develop the knowledge and skills required for promotional opportunities; offer continuous support and encouragement to aspiring leaders * Manage the logistical planning and organization of the program’s activities (virtual or in-person class preparation, facilitator engagement, set-up, etc.) * Establish and monitor training and development milestone *Ideal Candidate* * Previous success creating and managing training and development programs * Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment * Awesome strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members * Solid understanding of core leadership theories and best practices * Outstanding communicator with confidence to operate at all levels within the organization *Why AMAROK?* AMAROK has been recognized as one of South Carolina’s top companies to work for several years running.We are driven by our core values and strive to facilitatea greater sense of purpose in our career opportunities.
