The Salesforce Administrator supports the day-to-day execution and strategic development of Marketing initiatives through Customer Relationship Management system data automation and insight. Tasks include, but are not limited to, collaboration on marketing campaigns, managing the data and reports within the CRM, and looking for opportunities to increase the organization’s utilization of the CRM-Salesforce.

The Key Accountabilities of the Salesforce Administrator are:

• Campaign Collaboration. Leverages understanding of data from the CRM system to help develop and track marketing campaigns that enhance the ability to attract and retain business.
• SalesForce Management. Manages and maintains accurate data in the CRM system that allows for creating meaningful reports.
• SalesForce Utilization. Identifies and develops opportunities to integrate the CRM system into the organization to increase strategic business decisions and moves.

The minimum Requirements for the Salesforce Administrator are:

• MUST have a deep understanding and experience managing data in Salesforce.
• Grammar proficiency and experience with the Microsft Suite are REQUIRED
• Marketing background is IDEAL
• MUST be a flexible person that is ready for growth and the change that comes along with that growth.
• Experience with Pardot a PLUS

Additional Responsibilities of the Salesforce Administrator are:

• Attends the weekly Marketing meeting, at the direction of the VP of Marketing, to collaborate and share information.
• Reviews performance and career goals with the VP of Marketing weekly.
• Collaborates with the Campaign Coordinator to develop meaningful marketing campaigns. Carries out campaigns and other marketing concepts developed in partnership with the Campaign Coordinator. Tracks campaign success through CRM system analytics and shares with Campaign Coordinator.
• Tracks the progress and success of campaigns through CRM system analytics and provides reports to involved parties; which May include the Campaign Coordinator, Sales, and Regional Managers.
• Consults with the Social Marketing Manager to gather social content tips and tricks when using social content in a campaign. Keeps up to date on social content by reviewing material and receiving insight from the Social Marketing Manager.
• Meets with the VP of Marketing to discuss marketing data and campaign strategy. Reviews and plans improvements for marketing reporting and data. Collaborates on campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
• Partners with the Marketing content team to develop strategic messages for targeted marketing campaigns conducts message testing and executes reoccurring messaging.
• Consults with the VP of Business Development on campaign and business opportunities. Uses historical CRM system data to support future campaign ideas and high-profile sales opportunities.
• Discusses campaign ideas with Sales to gain input and alignment, especially as it pertains to key accounts. Understand the impact a campaign has on sales by running a revenue forecast.
• Supports Quality and Technical Support by managing online chat features, tech support cases, and reports in the CRM system. Passes important information from chats to the correct department for resolution.
• Partners with CIO to examine Tech Stack for potential improvement to marketing strategies. Also disseminates customer service information to CIO.
• Conducts research to identify new targeted outreach and campaign strategies as supported by CRM system analytics.
• Incorporates external information into campaign construction suggested by CEO and informed by current events.
• Enters data in the CRM system to create meaningful reports to inform work in other departments. Provides insight and clarification to add more context when needed. Collaborates with other departments to create new ways to leverage the CRM system.
• Gathers information to record in the CRM system from necessary individuals within the organization. Collects revenue information from CIO.
• Creates and maintains reports to track marketing efforts and outreach that include email open, click-through, and bounce rate in addition to revenue data. Shares reports with VP of Marketing weekly and provides additional context as needed.
• Develops and maintains reports for use by the Sales department. Includes Sales Pipeline report and Forecasting report. Identifies missing data within Sales reports and informs EVP of Sales.
• Develops new reports and look for ways to enhance current reports used by Marketing and other departments.
• Contacts vendors to resolve issues and answer questions about the functionality of systems such as SalesForce, Pardot, and Qualtrics. Seeks additional knowledge about the function of systems by browsing support pages, reading updates, and completing new training.
