Job Description

Due to a rapid expansion of our business, we are seeking a motivated and reliable employee to help us staff our rotational molding (rotomold) equipment. As a rotomold hand, you will program and maintain the operation of a rotomold machine to strict safety guidelines. Working to exacting standards on a two-person team, you will manipulate the molds, measure contents, and make adjustments using the tooling and equipment necessary to produce the required results.

The successful candidate will program and maintain the operation of a rotomold machine. This includes start-up, shutdown, temperature adjustments, filling of molds with resin, pulling completed parts, and scraping clean and cutting out parts per work instructions. The operations require the enhancement of appearance, function and safety for the product. The successful candidate must ensure quality of all outgoing products.

Candidates must have an acceptable driving record and MUST pass the Drug Test and Background Check.

Employee must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others, including coworkers and third parties, including wearing any required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all designated times. Company policies and procedures must be followed at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Along with the lead, the rotomold hand will operate and perform minor maintenance on rotational molding equipment.
• Storing equipment for inventory in a manner that prevents any damage during transportation.
• Strict quality inspection is expected in this role.
• Any issues identified during production should be reported and documented.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations for all employees.
• Must be able to read and understand the work schedule board and capable of meeting daily goals for production.
• Manual dexterity is a requirement. You must be able to stand, kneel, reach, squat, pull, push, climb and use common hand tools.
• You must be able to regularly lift at least 65 lbs.
• You must be able to work long hours while standing.
• You must be willing to work in any weather condition.
• Other duties may be assigned by manager or supervisor

Schedule:

• Due to fluctuating production schedules, candidates must have flexible schedules that will allow them to work ANY shift. Overnight shifts also possible.
• Minimum of 40 hours a week. Overtime should be expected.

Pay: Varies with experience; will be discussed further during interviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must be 18 years old and have relevant work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Relevant experience and other qualifications:

• Forklift certification is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to pass forklift operator training.
