Experience:
The HR Assistant will provide data analysis and reporting, and general clerical/administrative support to both Payroll and Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily communication to entire plant: TV’s, Daily Newsletter
- Analytical minded in order to produce many ad hoc reports from various managers within Operations, HR and Finance.
- As directed, collect, collate and summarize data
- Prepare professional presentations.
- Prepare announcements, memoranda, and other similar materials, and publish to appropriate audiences as directed.
- Manage website postings
- Provide administrative support, including screening phone calls, making travel and/or meeting arrangements, filing, meeting planning, and other related activities.
- Assist with Interviewing, scheduling appts and pre-hiring paperwork.
- Serve as a backup to within our department for: payroll and administrative duties
- Assist with functions involving LMS and Training.
Individual selected must be able to maintain confidence of the sensitive issues in these key organizations. A keen ability to interact with a wide range of employees from the production facilities up through representatives from the corporate ranks. Must be able to work autonomously and have strong prioritization skills. Familiarity with both the Payroll and Human Resources will be extremely beneficial.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint a must
- Previous payroll and/or HR experience required.
- Strong command of English grammar and spelling
Experience:
- 2-4 years experience in administrative assistant duties
- 2-4 years experience in report generation for operations/business analysis.
- 3+ years of general business experience in an office/professional capacit
