Headquartered in Islandia, NY, Affordable Cesspool Sewer & Drain Service is one of Long Islands Largest Septic, Drain & Grease Trap Service Companies. A true full service & installation company for residential, commercial & municipal customers serving Nassau & Suffolk Counties.

Affordable Cesspool Sewer & Drain is looking for an experienced positive and professional Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.

Duties will include customer service, answering phone calls, emails, make outbound calls, some dispatching, scheduling, data entry. etc. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

MUST KNOW LONG ISLAND TOWNS / CITIES WELL (NASSAU & SUFFOLK)

MUST HAVE SEPTIC/CESSPOOL, SEWER OR PLUMBING EXPERIENCE

Work in a newly renovated office with a team of 4-6 coworkers. Upstairs/ downstairs – 7 Private desks.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
• Listen to customers’ concerns, issues and questions
• Resolve customers’ concerns and answer customers’ questions to your best ability
• Maintain a positive attitude and calmly respond to customers’ complaints
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
• Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
• Providing introductory information to new customers
• Ensuring that customers are satisfied with products or services
• Following up with clients or customers to check that they’re still satisfied with any purchases
• Letting customers or clients know about additional products or services
• Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions
• Escalating queries and concerns
• Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service
• Working with a team of CSRs and other departments to find appropriate solutions

Skills

• Proven experience as CSR/dispatcher or relevant position
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods
• Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel
• Fast typing with experience in data entry
• Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• Active listener with excellent communication skills
• Sound judgement and critical thinking
• High school diploma
