Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional that understands and can perform basic tasks associated with Human Resources administration. The candidate will be organized, detail oriented and have some payroll experience. This role can grow into a career in Human Resources.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

• Work on HR Projects (safety, birthdays, anniversaries)
• Maintain employee timecards and process time off requests
• Process attendance reports
• Support payroll processing
• Actively involved in recruitment by scheduling interviews and sending interview confirmations
• Assist with planning employee events
• Making copies, filing, scanning documents and employee files
• Upload new hire information onto HRIS
• Maintain employee files
• Replenish Time off sheet forms
• Replenish Employment applications
• Create new hire packets

Required Skills/Abilities:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

• Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resource position.
• Knowledge of HRIS
• Payroll experience is a plus
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess computer skills working knowledge of office products
• Must have knowledge of customer service, human resources
• Ability to speak, read and write Spanish is a plus

Education and Experience:

• College Degree preferred but not required
• Any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, is also acceptable.

Physical Requirements:

• Office environment
• Must be able to Sit for long periods
• Pay and Compensation:

Base Compensation: $22.00 – $26.00
