Job Description:
KeyStaff is hiring for a temporary Administrative Assistant in Austin!
Pay: $17/hr
Shift(s): M-F
Responsibilities:
· Facilitate planning and documenting specifications for purchasing commodities and services; preparing procurement documents; and maintaining detailed records of items purchased, received, prepared, and issued.
· Development and preparation of procurement documentation, reviewing for accuracy, terminology, and compliance prior to processing; working with division level personnel to resolve discrepancies.
· Requisitions and orders merchandise, supplies, and equipment by using, interpreting, and monitoring guidelines, rules, policies, and laws.
· Prepares, reviews, tracks, and expedites procurement documentation.
· Initiates, approves, and processes emergency purchases.
· Facilitates contract negotiations and annual contract renewals/awards.
· Assists with negotiating settlement complaints and in resolving disputes.
· Assists with monitoring and tracking of vendor performance.
· Updates departmental procurement tracking tool and various purchasing and procurement reports, records and files.
· Acquire/monitor/track purchases to ensure accurate processing, appropriate application of budget categories and they are within budgeted amounts.
