Description

The Vision and Sensor Systems Electrical Engineering team is responsible for all electrical engineering tasks related to the design, analysis, test and certification of aerospace Head-Up Displays, Helmet Mounted Displays, and Avionics Vision Systems in both commercial and military fields.

This senior level position is primarily a digital hardware verification position for a military camera system. This position requires a background in digital hardware design and verification. Some experience with video processing hardware or image processing algorithms is preferred. Design and verification in a process-controlled environment similar to DO-254 is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

Verify digital hardware for a military application

Review requirements for a new digital hardware design using enterprise tools such as Jama Connect

Create a test approach, outline, and description for hardware level verification in Microsoft Word

Perform dry-runs and run-for-score on hardware test procedures

Present hardware verification approach to the certification authority

Oversee efforts and train less experienced designers

Experience with formal hardware verification in either an aerospace or medical application
