Company Description: ACS Manufacturing is a state-of-the-art design build manufacturer of acoustical equipment enclosures, fuel tanks, turbine systems and skids. We have one of the largest facilities in the industry, nearly 300,000 square feet on 36 acres in Denison, Texas and has expanded its operation to 150,000 square feet facility in Abbeville, SC.
Job Summary: The Front Desk Coordinator serves as the gatekeeper and manager of first impressions for the company and is responsible for monitoring the flow of traffic for all incoming telephone calls and facility visitors. As well, this person is responsible for ongoing special projects as assigned by supervisor.
Job Responsibilities/Duties: Front Desk Coordinator
· Answer incoming telephone calls
· Route calls and take messages for staff throughout the facility as necessary
· Answer the front door intercom and open door for visitors
· Maintain a friendly, cordial, professional and approachable demeanor at all times
· Ensure that visitors sign in and out on the visitor log, assist with catering for customers
· Notify staff members throughout the company when they have visitors
· Ensure that visitors are not permitted to travel beyond the reception area without escort or invitation from a staff member
· Give directions to dispatchers/truck drivers/delivery staff and other visitors as needed
· Maintain calendars for Conference Rooms and Time off
· Routinely monitor assigned camera views on the security system and report activity/concerns as needed
· Prepare new hire orientation packets weekly
· Assist Human Resources on projects when needed
· Monitor copy machines and change ink, paper and toner as needed.
· Maintain inventory of office supplies/keep organized and submit order to the Human Resources for final approval
· Maintain appearance and stock the Café, Conference room and front lobby
· Drive locally to pick up supplies as needed for company business
· Ability to travel as needed for training.
· Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skills
· Obey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulations
· Responsible for any other tasks that may arise; at any time
Minimum Requirements/Experience:
· Three years of experience in a professional office setting
· Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and job duties in a timely manner
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook
· Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment
