What you will do
We are looking for a highly capable IT support specialist to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role, your duties will include ensuring optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and securing data. You will also be required to advise on IT equipment upgrades.
To ensure success as an IT support specialist, you should possess experience in providing IT support in a fast-paced environment. IT support specialists contribute to increased productivity by ensuring that company IT systems and end-users run effectively.
Responsibilities include
- Providing IT support to Access One end-users, and in some cases, to Access One customers.
- Training end-users on hardware functionality and software applications.
- Monitoring hardware, software and system performance.
- Updating hardware and software as required.
- Resolving tickets and requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with the Systems Administrator and Director of IS/IT on solutions to problems.
- Creating and maintaining supporting documentation for technical and end-user use.
Who you are
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Analytical and logical thinking skills with good problem-solving abilities.
- Interests in the latest technologies and staying current with the ever-changing technical landscape.
- Ability to communicate procedures and solutions to colleagues and communicate in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
