Academic Achievers Hiring for Special Needs Teacher- p/t Job at Beverly Hills, CA Full Time

Academic Achievers Educational Services is seeking to add an Educational Therapist or highly experienced Special Needs Teacher to our roster of exceptional teachers. We are specifically looking for a homeschool teacher to work with an early elementary student in student’s home in Beverly Hills.

Applicants should have an Ed Therapist Certification or Special Education Credential and training in therapeutic reading programs such as Lindamood-Bell, Orton-Gillingham, or Wilson. Teacher must be able to work with learning disabilities, possibly autism and processing disorders.

Sessions are one-on-one in the student’s home in Beverly Hills approx. 6 hrs. week.
Student is EARLY ELEMENTARY.

Teacher will implement learning goals from student’s IEP and neuropsych reports. Teachers are part-time, hourly, W-2 employees.

• Masters degree in Special Needs Elementary
• AET Certification
• Therapeutic Reading Programs
• Math remediation
• Work in student’s home
• Progress reports and follow-up expected
• Ability to teach executive functioning skills
• Nurturing, mature, upbeat personality
• Commitment to stay with assignment until June 2023.
