Academic Achievers, a leading educational services agency, is looking for a credentialed elementary teacher to homeschool a 5th grader in Studio City. The job is 4 days/week (Mon-Thur.) 3 hours/day (9:00-12:00) from Jan. 2023 to June 2023. Must have classroom and curriculum development experience in line with the CA State Standards. Paid National Holidays.

This job is NOT remote.

Position is IN-PERSON in the students’ home in the Tulouca Lake area of Los Angeles.
The applicant must be an experienced teacher. Position starts ASAP and will continue until June 2023.

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
• Teaching Credential
• 5th grade classroom experience
• 2+ years of teaching 5th grade
• Experience with differentiated instruction
• Project Based Learning
• Language Arts
• Social Studies
• Math
• Science
• Enrichment
• Combination traditional and progressive
• Teacher must be patient and positive
• Creative, fun, hands-on lesson
• Punctuality and lesson prep important
• Write weekly progress reports
• Position starts ASAP
