We are looking for a dynamic sales leader that can motivate and lead teams to produce exceptional results. In this position you will manage the sales and clinical teams for their assigned territory and nurture our culture of trust, honor, and integrity. You must showcase proven success developing & executing sales strategies that result in the achievement of sales goals
Job Responsibilities:
* Direct the region’s sales activities that result in meeting annual growth and revenue objectives
* Set sales targets and forecasts
* Identify, hire, retain and develop talent through proactively managing performance.
* Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts
* Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales
* Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects
* Collaborate with functional departments of the company, specifically but not limited to Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs
* Liaise with Marketing and Professional Education to further develop value added strategies, tools, programs and services
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience medical device cardiovascular space
* 7+ years of management experience of a field commercial team
* Bachelors or advanced degree required; MBA Preferred
* Proven track record of success in managing a growing sales organization
* Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members
* Ability to negotiate and influence senior level leaders & KOLs within Knoxville region
* Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
* Working knowledge of SAP desired
* Ability to travel up to 60%
* Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required
