The role of Internal Communications Lead will be developing and implementing communications programs and messages – including marketing communications, web content, and direct marketing – to educate and inform stakeholders, including customers, employees, trade media and interest groups in Motion NEMA Motors in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Develop and execute internal communication plans and campaigns that outline and broadcast business initiatives and change management programs. Develop deep understanding of employee sentiment and factor it into planning and decision making. Partner with Human Resources ensuring the attractiveness of ABB as an employer. Manage the day-to-day content of internal communication media channels such as, but not limited to, intranet, newsletters, posters, emails, internal TV, etc. Cultivate a proven culture of collaboration to create experiences that engage, connect and inspire the community of employees. Develop and execute an editorial and events calendar that is synced with HR and business strategies. Draft and create content needed for digital workspace, employee communications, HR communications, and website pages as needed. Help organizing in-person and virtual events across plants and offices. Use research tools, analytics, and metrics to evaluate the performance of the initiatives and calibrate them as required. Ensure alignment with ABB Global internal communications strategy. Support C-level executives on communication (speechwriting for corporate messages, video script, etc.), acting as a trusted communication advisor.
