Visual South, Inc., a Charlotte, NC based ERP software sales and consulting firm, seeks an energetic, confident, persistent, organized, curious, and self-motivated individual for an Account Manager role within our sales organization. The candidate will be focused selling ERP and Professional Services to new prospects, as well as to an existing customer base. Our growth has created this opening.

Our consultants, who all have practical manufacturing experience, guide our customers through the learning process of using the ERP software. This combination of great software and great consultants makes us a total solution provider.

We will provide training about the markets we are in, the pain points we can address, and how we address them. We will train you on our practical, no gimmicks sales methodology. You need to provide a good relevant background, and an active learning attitude.

This position reports to the Director of Sales. This is a work from home position that requires a professional looking, distraction free video presence using Microsoft Teams. The ability to travel as needed is also required.

Account Manager responsibilities include:

• You are the lead for running a complete, complex sales cycle for new prospects. This includes: Conducting a thorough discovery process; developing a demo strategy around important business issues uncovered during the discovery and how the ERP addresses those issues; follow-up and creating a close strategy; closing the business. Keep in mind, you are not an “Army of One” here. This is a team effort.
• Creating and maintaining relationship in your customer base to create add-on software and Professional Service sales.
• Maintaining accurate data in our CRM system.

Account Manager requirements include:

• 3+ years ERP sales experience.
• Achieve practical quotas.
• Excellent video call, phone, and written customer communication skills.
• Strong PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications.
• Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated.
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Account Manager benefits include:

• Base salary plus commission. Target income is in the mid $130k range.
