Under the direction of the Corporate Training and Development Manager, this position is part of our Talent Development shared service organization supporting North America (U. S., Canada and Mexico). The individual’s main responsibility is to develop and deliver talent development solutions to our employees and managers to drive improved performance and positively impact business results.
Analyze Training and Development Needs and Create Training and Development Programs (20%)Partner with managers and HR representatives to identify and assess future and current training and development needs through job analysis, development of success profiles, career paths and other programs to support employee career growth and development.
Conduct assessments with employees and managers to identify skill gaps and assist in the creation of robust development plans to close those gaps.
Design training and development programs to address business needs relating to professional development, functional development, team building, leadership development and talent reviews.
Design training curriculum and content to address skills gaps or needs identified to enhance performance and competence.
Create custom classroom training participant and facilitator materials and programs by using best practices in instructor-led classroom design methods.
Curate training and development content in to multi-modal experiences for maximum training and development impact. Deliver Training and Development Programs (80%)Deliver innovative and highly effective training and development programs and processes for various levels of leadership and critical roles to close individual and organizational skill gaps.
Deliver a range of training modalities (using classroom training, webinars, virtual classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops) for all levels of the organization with relevant and current information using modern techniques and strategies.
Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to ensure consistent delivery of programs.
Utilize a learning management system (SAP SuccessFactors) to deploy, coordinate enrollments, and track completion of development solutions.
Monitor, review and conduct program evaluations to measure effectiveness, training impact, ROI/costs, and compile training progress reports.
Provide training and coaching to managers who are involved in the development of employees to ensure the development plans are robust and executed to align with future needs of company.
Establish and execute a framework to ensure the implementation of training and development solutions are having the desired impact on performance and capabilities.
Create and implement a reporting process to measure progress and impact of training and development programs and processes to ensure desired outcomes are being met and continuous improvements are being made.
