Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is seeking a full-time, experienced Staffing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have long term care and SmartLinx experience.

This level of care would not be possible without our compassionate and professional staff (like YUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing Services or SDC, performs recruitment and staffing in accordance with Facility policy and procedures.

Essential Duties of a Staffing Coordinator

• Assists the facility in reducing contracted staff and increasing scheduling of permanent staff
• Maintains a nursing department work schedule that adheres to the Facility’s staff-to-resident ratio.
• Administers Facility work rules, policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable) in the scheduling of staff.
• Reduces unscheduled vacancies by contacting available staff to cover shifts.
• Completes and posts daily schedule per state regulations.
• Supports adherence to Facility attendance, paid time off, leave of absence and FMLA policies.
• Schedules and conducts interviews with internal and external nursing department candidates as needed.
• Verifies absence/tardy forms are completed and forwarded to Human Resources in a timely manner.
• Advises the Director of Nursing Services/SDC of outstanding issues, potential problems, and labor relations matters.

Skills:

Must possess proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; decision-making skills, basic computer skills; and be able to operate various medical and/or office equipment. Must demonstrate knowledge of safety techniques. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.

Experience: One year experience in long term care preferred; SmartLinx experience preferred.
