RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate all employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, ancillary benefits, life insurance, along with voluntary insurance and retirement plans.
2. Prepare and ensure the timely completion of medical enrollment forms and affidavits, including beneficiary information.
3. Oversee the maintenance of employee benefits records.
4. Administer COBRA, TEFRA and HIPAA benefits as appropriate.
5. Assist with orientations regarding employee benefits as needed and ensure eligible employees are provided necessary information in a timely manner.
6. Ensure that employee benefits-related paperwork (Form 5500, 1095, etc.) are prepared and timely filed with governmental entities as required.
7. Stay abreast of changes in existing laws, rules regulations, and best practices applicable to employee benefits and payroll administration.
8. Assist employees regarding benefits questions, claim issues, and plan changes.
9. Assist in financial, or benefits audits as needed.
10. Process invoices, reconciliations and billing of all benefits monthly.
11. Assist with day to day functions of payroll including processing of new hires.
12. Preparation and updating of appropriate payroll systems.
13. Prepare bi-weekly and quarterly payroll reporting
14. Process LMM payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of Associates Degree in HR-related field with at least one (1) year of hands-on work experience with employee payroll/benefits preferred.
2. CEBS, CMS or GBA certification preferred. Extensive work experience in payroll/benefit services may be considered in lieu of Associate’s Degree.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point skills.
4. Knowledge of basic payroll functions, employee benefits and applicable laws.
