The Lutheran High School of Kansas City is seeking a part time English teacher for two 9th grade level courses. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to Christian principles, possess a valid teaching certificate, hold a bachelors degree, be well-rounded in the field of English and have teaching experience. The teacher fulfills the expectation of LHSKC by planning and evaluating the learning process of students within the framework of the curriculum. The teacher will provide the learning atmosphere designed to maximize student understanding of an entry level high school English course. The teacher will enhance the intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual growth of each child. The teacher maintains decision making responsibilities according to the policies of LHSKC.
Because of a modified block schedule these courses may meet only three days a week. MWF 12-3 or MTTH from 8-11
