Current Need
The Director Intelligent Automation leverages deep understanding of Information Technology and business processes to assess how technology can enable business priorities for the PSaS Enabling functions. This role will build and execute plans to deliver technology and drive adoption to maximize value creation.
The Director Intelligent Automation reports to the Head of Digital Transformation – PSaS Support Functions and acts as a “trusted advisor” to PSaS Finance, Regulatory, Compliance and HR business partners in improving operational efficiency and setting up automation at scale.
The Director Intelligent Automation teaches for differentiation, reframing the way business partners view their business and their needs. This role will focus on building constructive tension in interactions to make business partners step out of their comfort zone.
The preferred location for this role is Irving, TX.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Works with business senior executives to evaluate opportunities for automation, prioritize projects, determine business outcome and sequence delivery
Anticipates business needs and identifies and proposes IT products and services to fulfill those needs (This includes the IT opportunity pipeline management and qualification, as well as the internal value modeling and proposing process/systems improvements.)
Conducts business process analysis via business and process modeling aimed at transforming and improving business performance. Leverages tools such as SWOT analysis, process and task mining to discover, monitor, and improve real processes
Facilitates the planning and execution of business changes through the use of technology. Leverages formal organizational change management processes to drive adoption and value
Advises business executives on the risks and benefits of using technology to build competitive advantage and improve business performance
Promotes an understanding of IT roles, processes, and activities to the business, as well as acts as a chief marketer and communicator of IT services and capabilities
Works with business and IT executives to define business and IT performance metrics, and measures, tracks and reports on benefits realization and customer satisfaction levels
Identifies, manages, and resolves issues reported by business partners, as needed
May assist in the development of service-level agreements (SLAs) or selection of vendors in accordance with IT standards

Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
Critical Skills
10+ years of professional experience in driving intelligent process automation in one more back-office functions (Finance HR, Compliance, Procurement, etc.), preferably in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry or similar
Solid understanding of automation techniques and technologies with hands on experience driving automation on at least one major RPA platform such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or similar
Extensive experience in business process analysis, problem solving and influencing
Solid planning, financial and performance management skills
Proven experience in automating business processes and delivering automation at scale by partnering directly with the business
Experience with program and portfolio management, delivery management, and organizational change management
Additional Skills
Experience working in a matrix environment with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Experience working in an SAP or multi-ERP environment is nice to have
Broad understanding of current and emerging technology trends and developments
Education
4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
$129,000 – $215,000
