CobbleStone Software Hiring for IT Quality Assurance Tester Job at Clementon, NJ Full Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

CobbleStone Software is a fast-growing B2B legal/procurement software company. CobbleStone’s Requirements and Release Team is searching for an IT Quality Assurance Tester to support functional QA testing of our applications and software as well as the processing of incoming feature requests. The Requirements and Release Team at CobbleStone Software is an integral part of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have some IT software background, but we are willing to work with an exceptionally qualified applicant with no previous software experience. Qualifications:

As part of the Requirements and Release Team, the responsibilities of an IT Quality Assurance Tester (but are not limited to):

· Support key projects for application improvement and advancement

· Assist with performing functional QA Testing for items as they are completed and moved to the testing system

· Keeping test system up to date for upcoming projects and issue resolutions

· Track issue resolutions from development team(s) discovered during QA testing

· Work alongside QA team on gathering and sharing project information with key teams for upcoming releases so they can prepare Sales, Marketing, and Training materials.

· Assist with processing incoming feature requests using our systems of record

· Keeping knowledge up to date on:

o functionality of CobbleStone’s developed applications and software

o CobbleStone’s customers’ industries and markets

· Obtaining and maintaining CobbleStone University Certifications annually

· Supporting the Release Manager and other team members as needed

Varied technical knowledge and skills required in the following areas:

• Proficient in the use of PCs, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Proficient with Microsoft office productivity software tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Online Meeting Tools (such as Teams and GoToMeeting) a plus.

• Proficiency with web-based systems a plus.

• Experience with automated testing tools a plus.

Hiring Standards:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field

Equivalent Experience

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of experience with QA testing and/or business analysis, or equivalent education.
• Prior experience in a software position or equivalent education.
• Experience with web-based business software; vendor software, procurement; is a plus.

Miscellaneous:

• Must have excellent English communication skills.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States, must pass background, criminal, and drug testing.
