Summary

Everas is a seeking a Systems Administrator to oversee the maintenance and development of our IT infrastructure and end-user support. This is a supervisory position requiring both hands on and administrative work that will ensure reliable operations of all aspects of agency IT operations and equipment. Your technical expertise will be counted on for network planning and upgrades, research and development to continuously improve and keep pace with the business needs of Everas, proactive solutions for reoccurring issues to minimize work disruptions, maintain efficient helpdesk operations and support special projects.

Systems Administrator Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervise IT Coordinator and ensure daily schedule to support efficient department operations
• Ensure Everas network and infrastructure effectively meet business operations in a secure and regulatory compliant manner, including HIPAA and Cyber Security best practices
• Ensure IT department procedures and protocols are documented and up to date
• Trouble shoot hardware and software errors
• Maintain and manage agency IT inventory including all computer systems, printers, cell phones, A/V equipment, camera security equipment, cable/phone/internet service, and time and attendance equipment

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 years of related work experience
• Knowledge and experience with Cisco, Windows, VPN, virtual server maintenance and configuration
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Creative problem solving
• Criminal Background Check
• Valid NJ Driver’s license
• Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
• Willingness to meet NJ Executive Order 252, which requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster; at minimum one dose is required to begin employment with the expectation to complete subsequent doses as per recommended time frames; this requirement may be waived only in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the law.
