Description:
The IT Compliance department is responsible for the company’s daily operational compliance with and oversight of various Information Technology (“IT”) compliance programs, such as Critical Infrastructure Protection (“NERC CIP”), Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI-DSS”) and Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).
The department assists in the creation of, execution of, and oversight of specific compliance programs and controls in the areas of access control, change control, monitoring, patching, job scheduling, and backup & recovery in accordance with internal processes and procedures. Ensures compliance with Client policies and standards reviews evidence of compliance with policies and standards and provides guidance to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Assists with the design and implementation of compliance policies and computer-based tracking systems to support compliance.
We are looking for someone with a strong foundational skill set. On-the-job training will be required. The candidate will demonstrate detailed processing and documentation skills.
1. Technical background as it relates to IT – I.E. Systems Administrator, Desktop Support, Network Administration, etc.
2. Excellent Communication is required – this position is highly visible to other Departments and Teams across Tucson Electric Power’s Organization. This person will be interacting with other team members as well as leaders/management within the Client. This candidate will need to be able to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
3. Ability to Organize and Prioritize tasks effectively. (This team uses Microsoft Excel heavily)

Top Skills Details:
1. Technical understanding and different types of technologies, because they deal with IT technologies, applications, servers, databases, etc.
2. General IT knoweldge. In a help desk or service desk role, seems to have a good broad knowledge of technology and attention to detail. Some of the campaigns and certifications require a lot of tracking and follow up- documentation.
3. Basic office skills, Microsoft. Knowing how to maneuvers through excel, formulas etc.
Having IT compliance experience is ideal!!!

One (1) year of combined work experience in any of the following:
1. IT Operations experience such as desktop support or system administration
2. IT security operations with emphasis on the procedural aspects of IT security practice
3. IT Compliance regulations such as SOX, CIP, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.
4. IT Auditing and auditing controls
5. Project management, especially as it may relate to electric utility regulatory compliance activities
