Our school is hiring an experienced and passionate Educational Specialist/ RSP Teacher who can uphold our educational standards and maintain a fun, inviting learning environment for our students. We’re looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about hands-on learning, can effectively engage students in discussion and has the ability to respond appropriately to any situations that arise. We are seeking a candidate who prioritizes student centered learning, and is able to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with students, parents and colleagues.

Job Specifications Overview

• Full-time position [1.0 FTE]
• Bachelor’s degree or Higher
• The Commission on Teacher Credentialing certificate, permit, or other document required for the teacher’s certificated assignment
• Enthusiastic and effective teaching style, with experience in inquiry based and student centered approaches preferred
• Collaborate with the principal and Director of Special Education/ School Psychologist to manage special education
• Provide all services and student supports typical of a K-8 school RSP teacher (teaching, testing, IEP creation, case management, reporting, etc.)
• Use time efficiently and effectively to provide services and student supports
• Ability to listen, speak, read, and write in languages other than English preferred
• International Baccalaureate, charter, and California public school experience preferred
