Responsibilities:

• Supervises the IT project lifecycle and ensures that IT systems are deployed that meet business requirements for functionality, cost and timely delivery.
• Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develops strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Develops and documents standards and guidelines to guide the use, acquisition, and implementation of IT systems.
• Performs cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed/requested systems to support decision making.
• Develops custom queries, reports and dashboards with Business Intelligence tools including Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations or alternative solutions that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems across the organization.
• Works with Business Systems Analysts on needs analysis, system impact and interface requirements of applications and integrations.
• Provides database support, reports, and maintenance.
• Effectively transitions day-to-day support of systems to IT Support Manager.
• Demonstrates ethics and comply with Corporate Compliance Program.

• This position does have supervisory responsibilities over the Business System Analyst, Information Technology Project Manager and the Workforce Advancement Data Analyst Project Manager positions.

• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Computer Science , Information Technology, Business Information Systems or related field
• Equivalent professional experience or related credentials/certificates may substitute for the above educational requirements.
• Experience designing and developing reports, using Power BI or Tableau, SQL and Microsoft Reporting Services.
• Experience with relational databases and the software development life cycle (1 year minimum).
• Ability to elicit and write business and system requirements, develop process maps.
• Ability to manage a development team to effectively deliver projects.
• Ability to define project scope and prioritize business needs.
• Ability to act as technical lead for SQL, Business Applications, Integrations, and system topography.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, written and verbal, with people of all technical levels.

• Master’s degree in a technology and business hybrid program.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification such as CAPM or CSM.
