Job Description

Title: Account Representative SEWP (Federal Sales) (Hourly Position)
Reports to: Abba’s Director of Sales
Based at: Main Office, Albuquerque
Compensation Range: $22.00-$26.00

Job Purpose:

Account Representative’s Purpose is to support our Federal Sales Team with SEWP orders by providing timely and accurate quotes. Communicate with purchasing agents and end users on their requests and expectations. Follow up with the purchasing agents and end users on their purchase orders, track orders/shipping, etc. Coordinate with Accounting for invoicing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

Pre-sales

• Interface with customer and purchasing agents

• Provide timely and accurate quotes to customers

• Have working knowledge of sales tax issues

• Ability to quote basic configurations

• Provide sales leads to Account Managers

Sales Cycle

• Prepare purchase orders to vendors

• Handle issues vendors have in fulfilling Abba orders

• Process credit applications for vendors – to gain reseller level agreements

• Provide customer service (Ex: Track Orders, RMA’s, Shipping)

• Resolve issues with quotes and orders

• Notify Accounting when a sale can be invoiced

• Follow-up on outstanding quotes

• Provide administrative support to Account Managers

Post Sales

• Assist with invoicing problems

• Provide status to A/R for invoice tracking

• Register equipment/warranty information when necessary

• Provide continued customer service as needed

Administrative

• Backup team members (vacation, sick, overloaded)

• Maintain customer files

• Maintain quote log

• Attend sales meeting and training with vendors

• Provide sales reports as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in role.
• Proven customer support experience
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Some Exposure to Accounting Skills
• Understanding of Excel Worksheets
• Strong Problem-Solving Abilities

• Flexible and quick to respond
• Sense of Urgency and timelines to Customers
• Organized and Conscientious of Team Environment
• Helpful and willing to learn other teams’ roles and responsibilities to assist in busy schedules, holidays, vacations, illness, etc.

Desired Certifications:

• Minimum 2-Year Associates Degree (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
