OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
In general, this position is highly energetic and dynamic requiring significant multi-tasking and exceptional communication skills across some aspects of the business. The successful candidate could be deployed on an as needed basis to support any area in the organization deemed necessary by the IT Manager. Below is a partial list of support functions for this position.
General: The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated generalist with the ability to adapt to daily priority changes within the organization and may be required to assist any area of the organization. These areas include but are not limited to: Information Technology, Operations, and Cybersecurity. The successful candidate must be able to embrace learning and grow with the organization. This associate will be required to absorb high level tasks and create, formulate, and execute specific efficient plans and strategies to complete the assignments. The candidate will function as a key member within the team. All the efforts of this position require crisp focus and excellent multi-disciplined communication skills.
Information Technology: The candidates job duties may include updating hardware and software packages, revising documentation, installing computer and network systems, removing malware and other security threats, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual information systems maintenance, monitoring computer system backups, and preventing data corruption. You may also provide IT support for non-technical employees and facilitating end-user training on new software applications and other technology.
Operations: The candidate may be needed to support various operations, which could include but is not limited to moving IT equipment, area maintenance, and physically cleaning and dusting computers.
Cybersecurity: The candidate may be required to support our ongoing cybersecurity compliance projects, which could include but is not limited to assisting in making operational changes, and testing.
