Shift : Hours vary. Extended hours may be necessary to meet facility demands. Evening, Weekend and Holiday hours will be required.

Department Description: Treehaven is a residential education and research conference facility that is a part of the College of Natural Resources. It is located between Rhinelander and Tomahawk, WI, resting on a glacial ridge overlooking 1,400 acres of forest and wetlands. The College of Natural Resources has approximately 1600 undergraduates, 40 graduate students, and over 130 faculty and staff. The College supports premier undergraduate natural resources programs with disciplines in Fisheries and Water Resources, Forestry, Human Dimensions of Natural Resource Management, Soil and Waste Resources, Wildlife Ecology, and the Department of Paper Science and Chemical Engineering.

JOB DUTIES:
Position Summary: The Treehaven Chef works in concert with the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to develop menus and recipes. This position performs all scratch cooking and related activities and acts a kitchen lead when Head Chef is not available, including supervising staff on their shifts. The Treehaven Chef will interact with customers to safely create and serve high quality food.

Terms of Employment: This is an on-going University Staff position, non-exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is required to serve a six-month probation period.
