Human Resource Specialist/Generalist
The HR Generalist possesses broad knowledge of human resources functions, such as recruiting, leaves of absences, benefit administration, wage & hour, performance management, workplace safety, and training & development. This position will report to the HR Manager with a dotted line to the Corporate VP of HR, on a wide range of projects and recruiting efforts. The HR Generalist interacts will all levels of management, interns, 1099 non-employees, and regular employees to build a positive HR experience.
Must be able to meet deadlines, demonstrate great attention to detail and consistency in following process, and work well individually and in a team environment. The individual we are seeking will be an excellent communicator and be process oriented. This role requires a comfortability working with diverse groups and a fluid environment where priorities may shift on a moment’s notice.
· Areas of Responsibility:
· Perform basic and common HR transactions and activities involving but not limited to: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, status changes, LOAs/FMLA/ADA/EEOC compliance, corrective actions, terminations, training, employee communications, handbook, polices, company events, and other related activity.
· Assist in revising and creating SOPs and enforcing policies.

Qualifications:
· Minimum of one 2 years’ experience in HR or related field
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, credentials/cert. preferred
· Prior experience developing and implementing training & development
· Knowledge of US Labor Laws: FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, EEOC, ADA
· Exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
· Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a very fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Excellent time-management and ability to prioritize changing tasks with a sense of urgency necessary to meet objectives and deadlines
· Experience and strong comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, ADP, Paycom

Work Schedule
· This position is full-time, salary exempt (40 hours), typically M-F 8am-5pm. However, a flexible schedule according to staffing needs may include earlier/later or weekend hours/overtime as needed.
