Job Description:
Assist outpatient behavioral health contract managers with reviewing provider/group outpatient behavioral health applications to join the network, rate increase requests, send out contracts or amendments.
Interacts with CEOs, Executive Directors, providers, CFOs, business managers, and other individuals who represent behavioral health practices, groups, clinics and agencies.
Review emails from providers, review applications and application materials, outreach to providers and groups, prepare fee schedules, prepare contract amendments, send contracts and amendments to providers, phone and email contact with providers.
Prompt and accurate responses to providers is a must.
Prompt and accurate responses to Director and Senor Contract Manager are a must.
Requirements:
2 years of experience in Medicaid behavioral health provider contracting for a health plan, two years experience in provider relations/provider services
Experience with behavioral health provider market and community in California, Arizona, Oregon, and/or Washington States a plus
Must be familiar with provider agreements/contracts and fee schedules and related documents.
Exceptional verbal and written (email and IM) communication skills.
Ability to be kind, professional and respectful to providers regardless of how they act or behave on calls or emails to us.
Live and telecommute from a state in the Pacific Standard Time zone
Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business administration or related degree preferred
