Position Summary

West Chester University of Pennsylvania is currently seeking applications for an Assistant Professor for the Physician Assistant (PA) Program. This 12-month full-time, tenure track graduate faculty position will begin July 1, 2022. The faculty position is new to West Chester University with provisional ARC-PA accreditation.

The Department of Sports Medicine, within the College of Health Sciences, prepares students for careers in the athletic training and physician assistant fields. Enrolled WCU students in the Physician Assistant (PA) program are trained to be medical professionals who diagnose illness, develop and implement management plans, prescribe medications, and often serve as a patient’s principal healthcare provider.
Beginning with our second cohort of students, this founding principal faculty member in the Physician Assistant program will primarily be in a didactic position and will also support the clinical team. The candidate will be actively involved in the building, development, and evaluation of WCU’s Physician Assistant program.
