This part-time position will train and coach teachers in building a system for rigorous curriculum, using the Missouri Learning Standards, that is conducive to Developing Assessment Capable Learners in the classroom. It will also produce, coordinate, and implement various departmental training curriculums and may oversee specific departmental education programs. This would include, but is not limited to, planning, and assessing educational needs as well as evaluating and updating program materials and manuals on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation for teachers in the educational design and implementation of curriculum
• Assist in the development and implementation of educational support strategies and plans
• Perform a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities and make recommendations for improvement/efficiency, resourcing, etc., as necessary
• Provide input to various educational support in the implementation of various programs/procedures
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines in accordance with established priorities, timelines, etc.
• Develop working relationships with internal parties and may work with external parties, as needed

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.

Master’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience.

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $25.10 to $30.27 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
