Overview
The mentor is responsible for working with student – athletes who are experiencing academic difficulties and/or have newly matriculated to Utah State University. The mentor’s role is to serve as a supportive resource for student-athletes and provide them with tools and resources to help them mitigate their identified challenges. Mentoring helps student-athletes learn fundamental academic success skills that can help them become more effective at self-regulating their own learning.
