Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of the budget for medium to large and/or complex programs
- Work with program management and functional disciplines to manage cost and schedule
- Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Provide comprehensive monthly revenue and project profitability variance analysis against monthly spending, budget, and forecasts
- Implement and maintain Order, Sales, Profit, and Investment weekly tracking to present to leadership, providing program management and program finance inputs, variance analysis against current year plans
- Assess and quantify cost/schedule/technical status and risk, evaluate program trends, and provide project cost completion estimates
- Problem solve and conduct investigations to identify root cause and develop improvements to practices/approaches to mitigate scheduling risks
- Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
- Support internal and external audits along with certified cost and pricing efforts
- Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Conducts detailed financial analysis. Interprets and implements most proposal estimating, pricing and documentation requirements
- Monitors program adherence to approved budget
- Working knowledge of earned value management applications
- Manage physical inventory process
- Maintain timely monthly closings
- Support program manager analytics
- Apply specific revenue recognition methods
- Prepare forecasts of revenue and cost structure
- Other related accounting functions
- $100000 / year annual salary
Job Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- BS/BA in Accounting
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of Project-based ERP System
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and all other Microsoft Office Software
