We are looking for a/an Hydraulic Test Engineer to join our Services_AME
team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Conduct hydraulic performance tests on centrifugal pumps for new and refurbished equipment using computer-aided testing and basic instruments.
Generate performance test curves and validate data for customers and internal test records.
Interface with customers on test scope.
Design test fixtures as required, provide job-specific test instructions, layouts, and drawings to the shop.
Prepare written test procedures and agendas for customer submittal.
Provide test scope and cost estimation support to Tendering for pump test quoting.
Evaluate pump performance, issue work instructions to the shop for pump rework as needed.
Analyze and troubleshoot test non-conformances.
Plan and support ongoing test equipment maintenance and upgrade program.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Promotes and maintains an image of technical excellence and high integrity.
Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards.
Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and ESH Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.
Performs other duties as assigned.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
BSME or equivalent engineering degree required.
5 years’ experience with pump curves and pump performance evaluation.
Engineering-related software experience.
Good interpersonal, communication, computer, and hydraulic/fluid handling skills and knowledge.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
