We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner within our OneHR team located in Chandler, AZ!
This is a highly collaborative and critical position within the Americas HR Business Partner organization, liaising with business leadership and other regional HRBPs and specialists within the HR Communities of Expertise and MyHR people partners and broader MyHR team. The HR Partner directly supports the Americas Industrial Gases leadership teams, including: Hydrogen for Mobility Americas and West sub-region. As a member of the Business Leadership Team(s), the HR Partner provides strategic guidance to drive the development of a comprehensive strategic workforce and talent management plan that supports business success, enables consistent high performance, and builds a diverse workforce and robust talent pool. The HR Partner will support and coach leaders in building high performance teams, fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging, and developing leadership capability. As an HR Business Partner, you will bring insight, an independent viewpoint, and strategic HR expertise to Senior Leaders.
Key Competencies and Characteristics:
Develops strong, trusted partnerships with business leaders to understand, guide, and advise on strategic business and people matters
Provides coaching and guidance to help leaders perform optimally
Understands the market landscape and implications for the workforce; translates this understanding to play an active part in strategic workforce planning and the business decision-making process
Aligns with leaders in talent management, succession planning and employee development to enable progression/bench strength; facilitates identification of high-potential talent, and internal talent mobility.
Partners with leaders and centralized recruiting resources to support the strategic talent acquisition process to develop a diverse, robust talent pipeline
Champions diversity, inclusion, and belonging and drives our D&I goals and initiatives.
Evaluates and implements priorities in a fast-changing environment using a well-organized and disciplined approach
Qualifications:
5-7+ years of increasing scope and complex responsibilities in HR Partnering, Employee Relations or a mix of HR Business Partner and Center of Expertise (COE) experience.
California employment law familiarity and HR experience
Proven success in effectively partnering with and influencing leaders at all levels, from first time managers to senior leaders
Demonstrated functional competence across areas of HR, including organizational design, talent and performance management, employee relations, change management, compensation, and strategic workforce planning.
Ability to work flexible hours, and travel on occasion, to meet the needs of a regional team.
Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify challenges and drive appropriate solutions.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an HR center of expertise, e.g., Compensation, Talent Acquisition, OD
Master’s Degree in HRM or MBA
