Summary of Position: The Assistant Director of Academic
Support oversees The Academic support operations of CSS, including scheduling, management, delivery, and procedural assessment of classes
and academic coaching initiatives. The Assistant Director will lead academic coaching initiatives at IWU, providing individualized student
support and training in educational success strategies to the broader University. In addition, this position develops and implements a
campus-wide marketing plan to inform students, faculty, and administrators at the University about student support services and best
practices in the field. This position also teaches sections of the Foundations Seminar course to conditionally admitted, probation, or
affinity groups of students and meets as an academic guide with students to monitor progress. The Assistant Director will assist in
developing and implementing preventative and responsive programs to promote student success for IWU students.
