Job Summary
This position is responsible for the strategic deployment and operational implementation of the community outreach and engagement strategy for the Metro region. This position is responsible for leading Metro’s community outreach and engagement team to deliver on strategic regional goals around addressing gaps and inequities in access to care and improving community health. Central to this role is developing new innovative programs, closing gaps in existing programs, ensuring sustainability, and improving existing program performance in alignment with organizational objectives. This position works across departments within CareOregon and externally with community leaders and members to identify opportunities to partner with and/or invest in innovative, community-oriented programs that improve access to Medicaid services and community based social services, particularly for vulnerable or at-risk populations. This position is responsible for establishing, growing, and supporting CareOregon outreach/engagement community partner network and maintaining vital community partnerships as a representative of CareOregon across different social service and public health programs.
