St. Edward’s University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Assistant to the Dean for Academic Support. The Assistant to the Dean for Academic Support works in the School of Arts and Humanities. The person in this role provides complex budgetary and academic administrative support for the Office of the Dean. This individual assists the Dean in advancing the school’s missions in teaching research, and service while facilitating the interaction of the Dean with campus, system and community members.
QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, and at least three years of progressively responsible administrative/executive level management support experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are required. Must possess excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills. Must possess an unencumbered driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
