Position Summary:
The Student Service Professional is responsible for educating prospective students, their families, and alumni on academic and social engagement opportunities UGA. Additionally, this individual provides knowledge on the admissions review process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and/or other student services offered at UGA. Responsibilities may include responding to student, supporter, or alumni inquiries through multiple mediums in providing guidance at in-person events, email, and virtual programming.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage a recruitment territory in Georgia by actively traveling to high schools and two-year colleges to meet with counselors, parents, supporters, and prospective UGA students, coordinating alumni-admissions functions, attending college fairs, and maintaining regular contact with prospects, applicants, and counselors.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct dynamic presentations and effectively answer questions about admission and application processes; serve as the lead in early engagement with target high schools and middle schools in the North Metro Atlanta and Gwinnett areas, provide admission counseling and information sessions with visiting students and families, in person and in group settings as well as by phone, email, virtual; aid in public relations and recruitment programs.

Assist with admissions application and scholarship processing and selection for first-year and transfer students; serve as departmental liaison with other offices and agencies of the University; perform related work required or assigned by supervisors.
