The duties involved vary, ranging from organizing and supervising data collection, coordinating aspects of research, and assist in pre- and post-award management of sponsored projects. Data collection will include coordinating and supervising tasks such as downloading,organizing, and storing datasets with multiple modalities (genomics, clinical, imaging, REDCap, etc.), and preparing the collected data for analysis, project reporting, and depositing into repositories as needed by NIH DMSPs. Project management will include coordinating activities for on-going research projects, such as setting up collaborative research meetings, following timelines for project deliverables, meeting project deadlines, and communicating such tasks across faculty, staff, trainees as well as external research collaborators. Pre- and post-award management will include preparation, review, edit and submission of sponsored program proposals, as well as the post award management of research grants. Other tasks will also include submitting data agreement requests, assisting in progress report submissions, and assisting in the execution of agreements and subcontracts. He/she will also prepare and submit IRB study protocols, renewals, and modifications according to the needs of the sponsored research, as well as review and edit manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals.Job Description
