Job Purpose
Based in the USA, this role sits within the recruitment team, focused on student recruitment from North
America. As a Senior International Officer (SIO) you will report directly to the Country Manager USA and under the strategic direction of
the International Recruitment Manager, North America, Europe & Central Asia (IRM). You will liaise with the Director and Deputy Director
of Recruitment and International Relations, and wider team of IRMs and SIOs to support the achievement of the international ambitions as
outlined in the Global Glasgow 2025 and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Specifically, the role will lead on student
recruitment, with the key objective to increase the numbers of full-time undergraduate and postgraduate international students from a named
region of the USA – either West or Midwest – to the University of Glasgow. You will have a focus on lead generation, applicant nurture and
support. Furthermore, you will also prioritise targeted stakeholder engagement from a defined geographical region within North
America.
NOTE: The regional recruitment breakdown will cover either the West, (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho,
Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.) or Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri,
Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin.) and the role will be based remotely out of the relevant region.
The post
holder will be required to visit the University twice per calendar year. The post holder may be asked to attend international recruitment
events in other countries, if required.

Salary will be Grade 7, $61,109 – $65,590 per
annum.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended (permanent).
