Description:
Hofstra University’s Dance program invites Dance educators to apply for possible adjunct teaching positions starting in Fall 2024. Successful candidates will have extensive experience teaching modern/contemporary dance technique classes in university settings and/or in professional dance schools. We are interested in candidates who are also experienced in choreographing on dance majors to create pieces for our fall and spring performances. Any additional teaching qualifications such as World Dance styles, Dance Composition, Music for Dancers, Dance on Film etc. would be a plus.
Qualifications:
● BFA in Dance*1-2 years’ experience teaching modern/contemporary dance in university dance programs*1-2 years’ experience choreographing for students in university dance programs
Preferred Quals Summary:
