INVISTA is seeking an experienced Sr. Accounting Analyst to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS. In this role you will partner with other teams across the globe to create and execute data strategies to deliver value to Koch and to the INVISTA businesses. What You Will Do
- Build strong relationships through active partnering and collaboration with finance, accounting, IT, and other Koch resources.
- Own collaboration of the monthly close process, engaging finance, accounting, IT, and key stakeholders to optimize processes, drive accountability, and create visibility.
- Support INVISTA’s financial consolidation process through ownership of OneStream and partnering with resources across other Koch companies (including building knowledge systems, influencing strategies, and identifying opportunities to leverage the tool to meet reporting needs).
- Collaborate with others in finance, accounting, and other Koch companies in support of requirements for consumption of INVISTA’s trial balance data, ensuring quality and timeliness while driving efficiencies, waste reduction, and automation in the processes.
- Support foreign exchange processes, building knowledge systems, ensuring accurate accounting, and supporting the creation of meaningful analytics for FX.
- Work closely with others in accounting and IT to understand how system processes impact accounting results, understand risk, establish points of view, and drive execution of those points of view to meet transactional and reporting needs.
- Support key transformation initiatives, collaborating with accounting, finance, IT, and other Koch companies in executing key finance/accounting strategies aligned with INVISTA’s vision and meeting the needs of the business, while supporting USGAAP, statutory, and tax requirements.
- Seek and share knowledge, communicate effectively, and build partnerships across the global finance organization.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of related financial accounting and/or financial reporting experience
- Knowledge of General Ledger, Balance Sheet, and Income Statement
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, including advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
