Responsible for helping the research and teaching functions of the Department function well, as well as supporting and adapting to changes in the Department’s portfolio of research or teaching activities. Responsibilities include the coordination of the UG and MBA academic programs in Real Estate; administering academic personnel functions, supporting faculty in their teaching and research missions, and guiding students in course enrollment and real estate major/concentrations.

The Academic Director is also the administrative point of contact for the Department on academic matters and, as such, is the face of the Department for students, the Wharton Dean’s Office, the MBA Program Office, the Undergraduate Program Office, MBA Course Match, and academic administrators in other Departments. The position works with the Academic Coordinator, who assists the Academic Director in fulfilling their duties.
A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
